VIEW A – Wing Valance is contrast lined and features a rectangular center with two curved side "wings" that fall into soft folds. Decorative cording highlights the bottom edge. The center depth of valance is 15" (38cm) and the side wings are 30" (76cm) long. This valance is easily stapled to a 1" X 3" (2.5cm X 7.5cm) board and can be made for window widths 28-52" (71-132cm).
VIEW B – Easy Pole Swag is contrast lined and features two "swags" with a center "trumpet" and side "cascades". Measuring from the top of the pole, the depth of the swag is approximately 20" (51cm) and the side cascades are approximately 32" (82cm). This treatment is mounted on a decorative pole and can be made for window widths 34-52" (87-132cm).
VIEW C – Drawstring Valance is contrast lined and features a casing with cording along the top edge that cleverly "pulls" the valance into cone shaped "trumpets" across the treatment. There are three trumpets for valance sizes 28-32" (71-82cm); four trumpets for valance sizes 33-41" (84-104cm); five trumpets for valance sizes 42-52" (107-132cm); and six trumpets for valance sizes 52-65" (135-165cm). Decorative trim highlights the bottom edge. The side depth is 25" (64cm) and the center depth is 18" (46cm). This treatment is mounted on a decorative pole and can be made for window widths 28-65" (71-165cm).
VIEW D – Waterfall Valance features three rows of horizontal folds and a bottom shaped edge highlighted with a decorative tassel. The depth at the center of valance is 20" (51cm) and the side length is 14" (36cm). This treatment is easily stapled to a 1" X 3" (2.5cm X 7.5cm) board and can be made for windows 28-52" (71-132cm) wide.
SUGGESTED FABRICS:
ALL VIEWS: Mid-weight decorator fabrics such as cottons and cotton blends, linens, jacquards, or other similar weaves work well. Lightweight blend fabrics can also be used.
SUGGESTED LINING:
VIEWS A, B, or C: These views are lined in a contrast fabric since the back of the treatment shows in the sides or trumpets when mounted.
VIEW D: Select a white or off-white drapery lining fabric. Sun resistant or water resistant linings are recommended.
