At Jaycotts, we take internet security very seriously and make buying online just as safe as high street shopping, and much safer than snail mail or telephone ordering.

Your browser will go into secure mode as soon as you access the 'Card Payment Page' i.e. before you enter any payment card details.
When you reach the part of our secure checkout that requests your payment details, look for the small padlock (at the top or bottom of your screen) this confirms that you are now on our secure Actinic server, and your browser has gone into secure mode.

Actinic are in partnership with Credit Call, who specialize in web security and are recommended worldwide by major banks and credit card companies as a secure gateway for handling internet payment details.

This gateway will automatically communicate with your bank or card provider to verify details. This process is usually done in a matter of seconds and acts as an additional security measure against stolen card details and identity theft.
It is therefore important to check that: cardholder's name address and card details are correctly entered onto our system to ensure card payments are duly authorized by your bank.

'Secure Mode' ensures that all of your details are encrypted to help keep them secure. Encryption creates billions of code combinations to protect each transaction made on our site, so your card details cannot be viewed by anyone else using the Internet.
In addition, our site supports 128 bit encryption and therefore keeps your details as safe as possible at all times.

Your card details are placed via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to prevent you from inadvertently revealing personal information using an insecure connection. New security checks like the card signature code (that's the little line of numbers on the back of your card - just by your signature) have been introduced to further protect your credit card details online.

No credit or debit card details are stored once your order has been processed.
